Responsibilities
- Build and ship backend software, products, platforms, and APIs that run reliably at scale.
- Own features end to end from ideation through production.
- Design workflows and internal tooling that enable effective AI-agent-assisted development.
- Work cross-functionally with backend, data, ML, and product teams across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo.
- Apply testing, observability, reliability, and maintainability practices and respond to production alerts.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping real software that runs reliably in production at scale.
- Strong engineering fundamentals, including testing, observability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI-first development and regular use of AI tools and agentic coding workflows.
- Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate across disciplines and time zones, and take ownership of projects.
- Interest in product outcomes and willingness to form opinions about architecture and emerging AI models, agents, and tools.
