Responsibilities
- Participate in designing and developing network security products for hyperscale environments, including firewalls, WAF, IDS, and similar systems.
- Assist in building security capabilities for AI-native systems, including LLM/Agent abuse prevention, risk detection, and behavioral analysis.
- Support customized security solutions for business units that meet compliance and security requirements.
- Own well-scoped modules or features under guidance from senior engineers.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to documentation and testing.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate, master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Networking, or a related discipline.
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, computer networks, and operating systems.
- Proficiency in at least one of C, Go, or Python through coursework, personal projects, research, or prior internships.
- Exposure to or coursework or project experience with LLM/Agent-based systems, such as tool/function calling, context management, or related security implementations.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with comfort working in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
- Preferred: personal projects, research, CTF experience, or coursework related to LLM/AI security.
- Preferred: familiarity with firewall, WAF, or IDS products, or networking/security open-source contributions.
- Preferred: prior internship experience in security, networking, or backend infrastructure.
