Base Salary
$193k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build retrieval systems over petabyte-scale document collections.
- Develop organizational-level interfaces for collaboration with AI.
- Manage dedicated GPU capacity across more than five regions.
- Build planning agents capable of complex, multi-step workflows.
- Develop systems meeting government-level security requirements for sensitive matters.
- Evaluate LLMs across a taxonomy of more than 10,000 tasks.
- Build internet-scale data collection systems spanning more than 50 jurisdictions.
- Own and lead engineering projects across Harvey’s product lines in collaboration with AI, Legal, and GTM teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of post-BS/MS backend-focused software engineering experience on product-centric teams.
- Track record of building fast-growing SaaS products using PWA technologies.
- Track record of shipping highly intuitive products with strong attention to detail.
- Experience building backend platforms that support multiple product lines.
- Strong programming skills and general computer science knowledge.
- Early-stage startup experience is a plus.
- Must have completed a BS or MS before the required experience.
