Base Salary
$165k - $307k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded software using Rust and C/C++.
- Develop software for Layer 2 and Layer 3 in-line network encryptors, embedded cryptographic devices, and emerging cryptographic solutions.
- Collaborate with system, test, and hardware engineers to develop and transition new capabilities into service.
- Help clarify requirements and support development, integration, automation, testing, and final product certification.
- Use Linux in an embedded environment and participate in multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience using C/C++ in embedded environments.
- Experience using Linux, ideally in an embedded environment.
- Object-oriented software development experience and a basic understanding of TCP/IP.
- US citizenship and an active SECRET or TOP SECRET security clearance.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Preferred qualifications include Rust, Linux kernel driver development or modifications, bare-metal embedded device drivers, microprocessors and embedded processors such as NIOS, ARM, and RISC-V, emulation environments, networking protocols such as IPsec, MACsec, and TLS, Python, and standalone embedded applications.
