Responsibilities

  • Build and ship Payments Experience features including market-specific payout instrument flexibility and tooling for managing SUBA availability.
  • Maintain the operational health, stability, and reliability of backend payment services.
  • Help decommission the legacy Ruby payout-settings service and clean up its dependencies.
  • Remove Platform DB dependencies from the Bank Accounts service as part of a broader migration.
  • Participate in planning and refinement sessions by providing technical assessments and effort estimates.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience building applications in Go with knowledge of core language concepts and the standard library.
  • Experience working with microservices architectures and RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL, with the ability to write clean and efficient queries.
  • Familiarity with containerized deployments using Kubernetes and experience with AWS.
  • Comfort working in multi-language codebases, including Go and Ruby, and openness to feedback and solving engineering problems.
