Responsibilities
- Design and build a unified global banking platform with high-level APIs and regional implementations.
- Transform monolithic services into decoupled, scalable, region-agnostic banking services.
- Implement and continuously improve highly available backend services and transfer-system reliability.
- Maintain cloud-native core services using AWS, Kubernetes, Golang, Kotlin, Java, and Elixir.
- Improve test coverage and deliver changes end to end, including testing, observability, and monitoring.
- Contribute to engineering culture, documentation, best practices, solution exploration, and tool selection.
Requirements
- Solid programming experience and interest in Java, Kotlin, Golang, and Elixir.
- Advanced understanding of distributed and event-driven systems.
- Experience with event streaming platforms and messaging brokers such as Kafka.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Comfort working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or ArgoCD.
- Commitment to ownership, clear and maintainable code, testing, collaboration, pairing, and continuous learning.
