Responsibilities
- Build new applications using Object-Oriented ABAP and maintain existing SAP solutions.
- Design scalable software solution architectures to address technical challenges.
- Analyze business requirements with internal and international colleagues and coordinate development and integration tasks.
- Engineer complex SAP solutions with process experts in an Agile environment.
- Conduct developer tests and code reviews to maintain clean code, quality, and technical standards.
- Expand technical expertise independently and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field combined with proven professional experience as a software engineer.
- Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming in ABAP.
- Understanding of SOLID principles, Domain-Driven Design, and Test-Driven Development.
- Experience with ABAP Development Tools in Eclipse and Visual Studio Code.
- Experience designing and developing applications using OData, REST, IDoc, and RFC interfaces.
- Advanced analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
- Hands-on experience with BAdIs.
- Strong functional and technical understanding of SAP EWM documents and processes, including EWM-specific ABAP objects and APIs.
- Practical experience developing and customizing the SAP EWM RF Framework.
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with the SAP Post Processing Framework.
- Knowledge of Clean Code principles, Core Data Services, S/4HANA, BOPF, and SAP Fiori Elements is advantageous.
- Experience with RAP or CAP programming models is advantageous.
- Written and spoken English proficiency.
