Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for desktop and web applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, cross-browser, and responsive-design testing across multiple platforms and environments.
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Qt Squish, or similar frameworks.
- Track software defects in Jira, verify fixes through retesting, and maintain clear testing documentation and quality metrics.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to provide QA feedback on requirements and features.
- Test desktop installers, application updates, configuration scenarios, and RESTful APIs.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software QA experience focused on desktop and web applications.
- Strong knowledge of QA principles, test planning, test case development, and defect management.
- Proficiency in manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Qt Squish, or similar automation tools.
- Ability to write test scripts in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python is welcome.
- Experience testing desktop applications on Windows and macOS, including installers, updates, and configuration scenarios.
- Experience with cross-browser testing, responsive design verification, and API testing with Postman or automated scripts.
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, test management tools, Agile processes, and sprint-based development.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
