Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Build, enhance, and support CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments across Health Information Systems environments.
- Automate operational processes using scripting, Infrastructure as Code, and policy-driven automation.
- Develop monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions to improve platform reliability and issue detection.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, applications, integrations, APIs, backup, connectivity, and cloud platform issues.
- Implement security practices, patching, vulnerability remediation, access controls, and compliance-focused operational standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, security, and business teams to deliver reliable and secure services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least three years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar infrastructure operations or DevOps role.
- At least three years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure platforms, operational tooling, or cloud services in production.
- At least three years of experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, platform administration, operational support, system integrations, or service reliability activities.
- At least two years of experience in automation, scripting, and database administration using technologies such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MariaDB.
- At least one year of experience troubleshooting infrastructure integrations, APIs, backup agents, application connectivity, and cloud platform issues.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and monitoring, observability, or logging tools.
- Strong Linux administration, networking, security, vulnerability management, and root cause analysis skills.
- Familiarity with databases, cloud-native services, high-availability concepts, and disaster recovery practices.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with GitHub Copilot, Nagios, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Grafana, Splunk, or equivalent tools; AWS, Kubernetes, DevOps, or cloud engineering certifications; and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
