Responsibilities
- Architect and build robust API integrations between the platform and enterprise HR, payroll, and POS systems.
- Develop reusable integration frameworks, shared libraries, data migration pipelines, CSV transformation solutions, and two-way payroll integrations.
- Own software design, development, testing, deployment, infrastructure, and production support.
- Build internal tools, dashboards, reporting tools, career site implementations, and AI-assisted automation.
- Manage infrastructure-as-code and deployment pipelines using Terraform, GitHub Actions, and related tooling.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, review code, and establish engineering and integration standards.
- Lead technical discovery sessions and translate customer business, compliance, and integration requirements into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, enterprise clients, and internal stakeholders to influence the platform roadmap and improve customer outcomes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or a related technical customer-facing role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs at scale.
- Proficiency with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions or an equivalent.
- Demonstrated use of LLM APIs, AI tooling, or AI-assisted development workflows.
- Familiarity with GitHub, version control, and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience with workflow automation platforms such as Workato, Zapier, or similar tools.
- Willingness to work during US business hours.
- Preferred qualifications include Python and TypeScript/JavaScript proficiency, SaaS implementation or professional services experience, HRIS/payroll/POS integration experience, shared developer tooling experience, and familiarity with MCP or agentic AI frameworks.
