Base Salary
$87k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, train, fine-tune, and deploy LLMs for enterprise use cases within the Palantir Vantage platform.
- Develop agentic AI systems capable of reasoning, planning, and acting across complex data workflows.
- Integrate AI models with Palantir Ontology, datasets, operational pipelines, Vantage, and other Department of War platforms.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, product teams, stakeholders, and government customers to deliver scalable AI solutions.
- Apply current generative AI, LLM, and agentic architecture practices across Vantage and Department of War deployments.
- Develop content and present briefings to senior government leaders.
- Manage and respond to user tickets and report progress during developer team sessions.
- Lead Integrated Product Teams.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret DoD security clearance are required; the ability to attain an interim clearance will be considered.
- A B.S. or M.S. degree in Information Assurance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline is required, with experience accepted in lieu of education.
- At least 5 years of related technical experience is required.
- Experience building and deploying production LLMs such as GPT, Llama, or PaLM is required.
- Strong experience with agentic AI, autonomous agents, or multi-agent systems is required.
- Proficiency with Python and modern machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow is required.
- Experience with Palantir Vantage, ADVANA, or similar data analytics platforms is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with data modeling, ontology design, and pipeline orchestration in Vantage or ADVANA is desired.
- Experience with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, AI workflow automation, enterprise AI/ML integration, and responsible AI practices is desired.
- Experience with Palantir MAVEN, Army 365, Azure Databricks, Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Microsoft Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 data modeling is desired.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, self-direction, and ability to work with limited oversight are required.
- Experience working on a Scrumban team in an Agile environment is required.
