Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded Linux systems for automotive applications.
- Develop drivers, middleware, and automotive applications involving devices such as camera sensors.
- Create technical specifications based on project requirements.
- Optimize security requirements and real-time performance for automotive systems.
- Perform problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Lead technical teams and mentor junior engineers.
- Follow automotive standards such as ISO 26262 and AUTOSAR while managing software quality.
- Collaborate with clients and internal system and validation teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of embedded software development experience.
- 5+ years of embedded Linux development experience.
- Proficiency in C or C++.
- Understanding of real-time operating systems and microcontroller architecture.
- Experience with Shell or Python scripting.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git or Gerrit.
- Experience with build systems such as Yocto or Buildroot.
- Preferred experience with kernel modules, driver development, and automotive embedded systems.
- Preferred knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDP, ARM, MIPS, automotive safety standards, and functional safety.
- Preferred hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluency in Japanese and reading and writing proficiency in English.
- Ability to work independently, manage tasks autonomously, and contribute as a proactive team player.
