Responsibilities
- Build the chat-driven builder experience, live preview, canvas, publishing, and sharing flows.
- Design how agents translate natural-language goals into pages, databases, workflows, and safe follow-up edits.
- Build the generated-app runtime and workflow layer, including triggers, scheduled jobs, retries, logging, and deterministic versus agentic steps.
- Own delegated identity, permissions, secrets, sandboxing, and isolation for generated applications.
- Expand integrations across Apollo data and external systems such as Google Sheets, Google Drive, CRMs, and MCP-based connectors.
- Improve the UI relationships among pages, data, workflows, and agents so customers can understand and trust their applications.
- Work with design partners and customers to turn feedback into shipped product improvements.
- Set engineering patterns and own testing, evaluations, reliability, performance, and cost for a fast-moving 0-to-1 product.
Requirements
- 5+ years building and shipping production software.
- Strong TypeScript and React skills, including complex stateful interfaces such as editors, canvases, builders, or collaborative surfaces.
- Backend and API design experience, ideally with event-driven or workflow systems involving retries, idempotency, and observability.
- Production experience with LLMs, including agent loops, tool calling, context management, code generation, or evaluations.
- Experience making security decisions for systems running untrusted or generated code, including sandboxing, delegated authentication, scoped tokens, and secrets handling.
- Experience taking an ambiguous 0-to-1 product from prototype to a dependable customer product.
- Product judgment and empathy for non-technical users.
- Current fluency with AI-assisted development and a strong quality and ownership mindset.
- Preferred experience with low-code, no-code, AI app-builder products, or developer tools.
- Preferred experience with Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects, Ruby on Rails at scale, GTM or marketing technology, or RevOps teams.
