Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade AI agents with Agentforce Builder, Agent Script, and New Graph Architecture.
- Develop multilingual, multi-turn agent topics, reasoning paths, skills, fallback flows, and autonomous customer-support experiences.
- Create and evaluate system prompts, guardrails, contextual instructions, and few-shot or chain-of-thought techniques.
- Build integrations and data pipelines connecting agents to Salesforce Data Cloud, Apex, REST/GraphQL APIs, and external enterprise systems.
- Implement testing, A/B testing, benchmarking, and evaluation for conversation quality, deflection accuracy, hallucination rates, and semantic-search precision.
- Partner with Product Management, architects, and AI researchers to test unreleased Agentforce capabilities and inform product roadmaps.
- Participate in releases, code reviews, CI/CD, on-call rotations, and production work supporting high availability and sub-second response times.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend development experience and demonstrated work designing and scaling AI/ML services or conversational AI systems.
- Hands-on proficiency in Java, Python, Apex, or C# in microservice and multi-tenant SaaS environments.
- Understanding of large language models, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector databases.
- Hands-on experience or working familiarity with the Salesforce Platform, including Apex, LWC, Flows, API integrations, or Agentforce.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful/GraphQL APIs, managing data pipelines, and working with relational and non-relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD practices, unit testing frameworks, and automated end-to-end testing.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include direct Agentforce, Agent Script, or Data Cloud experience; customer-service bot, autonomous-agent, or multi-agent orchestration experience; GenAI evaluation, RLHF, bias mitigation, and safety-guardrailing experience; and Salesforce certifications such as Platform App Builder, Salesforce Developer, or AI Associate/Specialist.
