Responsibilities
- Write efficient and maintainable code adhering to best practices.
- Design, query, and optimize database solutions for scalability and performance.
- Debug and resolve coding and database-related issues under guidance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Update and maintain existing software and database solutions as necessary.
- Work within an Agile team to develop services and products.
- Automate development workflows using tools like Ant, Gradle, and Jenkins.
- Monitor and improve the performance and health of services and databases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience developing enterprise software and services.
- 1+ year of experience with Unix/Linux systems.
- 2+ years of experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in Java or a similar programming language, with Python as a plus.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud environments.
- Basic understanding of database optimization and performance monitoring.
