Responsibilities
- Design and develop new features for Jitterbit’s iPaaS and APIM platform.
- Own projects from design through deployment while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Build and maintain large-scale distributed and multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Work with cloud-based architectures, microservices, databases, messaging systems, and deployment infrastructure.
- Debug complex issues and apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Mentor and support other engineers while contributing to a distributed team.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, operations, and peers on key initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed applications.
- Strong experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with close attention to detail.
- Experience with microservices and cloud-based architectures or design patterns.
- Strong experience with Java.
- Substantial experience with SQL Server and MySQL or other top-tier relational databases.
- Excellent JavaScript, CSS, and HTML authoring skills.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Node.js, or Go.
- Familiarity with application deployment using Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, or CloudFront.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
