Responsibilities
- Implement uncertainty-aware algorithms to improve transformer-based multi-task classifier performance.
- Implement modeling changes end to end, including evaluation.
- Validate data and model implementations against experiment plans and modeling mechanics.
- Use experiment results and data to improve model performance.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or JAX.
- Theoretical understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals.
- Experience debugging transformer-based models using TensorBoard metrics.
- Familiarity with software development best practices and version control.
- Preferred: experience with uncertainty measurement in deep learning model development.
- Preferred: hands-on experience using data to improve model performance.
