Responsibilities
- Own software solutions deployed to customers.
- Write code to improve products and scale mission capabilities.
- Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality.
- Create and analyze metrics for debugging and monitoring.
- Triage issues, identify root causes, and coordinate next steps.
- Partner with end-users to translate needs into features while balancing user experience and engineering constraints.
- Travel up to 30% of the time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments.
Requirements
- Have a strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Have 3 or more years of experience working with programming languages such as Python, C++, Rust, Go, and JavaScript.
- Have experience building software involving significant data processing and analysis.
- Be able to quickly understand complex systems and established codebases.
- Be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include physics, mathematics, or motion-planning experience; multi-agent autonomous systems; behavior trees; flight-system and safety-critical software or hardware; distributed communication networks and message standards; military systems and tactics; and mid- or upper-tier Air Defense experience.
