Base Salary
$140k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture design, development, and deployment of AI/ML products for Clover merchants.
- Build and deploy performant, end-to-end, customer-facing AI/ML applications and infrastructure.
- Research state-of-the-art AI/ML techniques and incorporate them into team practices and design patterns.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering on the AI/ML roadmap, user experience, and technical infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of industry experience developing end-to-end customer-facing AI/ML applications and infrastructure.
- Strong fluency in Python, AI/ML frameworks, modeling techniques, and model serving.
- Experience with MySQL, Snowflake, MongoDB, Redis, Google Cloud Storage, vector databases, Docker, Jenkins, Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions.
- Strong motivation to improve team capabilities in a rapid, iterative, thoughtful, and empathetic environment.
- Effective written, visual, and verbal communication skills for technical, non-technical, and leadership audiences.
- An advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Physics is preferred.
