
Senior Vault / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities
- Build and configure Vault clusters across OpenShift, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Author and manage GitOps configurations for Vault installation.
- Generate TLS certificates and store them in the appropriate secret store.
- Run and validate deployment pipelines; manually unseal Vault and store recovery keys.
- Build Terraform configurations for Vault deployment and configure the Vault auth backend.
- Enable DR functionality across three regions and set up performance replicas.
- Smoke test configured Vault instances and perform DR flip/failover testing.
- Configure observability dashboards, alerts, and synthetic monitoring.
- Coordinate with partner squads by raising and tracking change tickets.
- Migrate all clients onto the new cluster set and maintain backup/restore validation.
- Keep all documentation current for environment rebuilding.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform.
- Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes in an OpenShift context.
- Experience across AWS and Azure.
- Hybrid and multi-cloud experience (private + public).
- Ability to work alongside CA, AppSec, HSM, PKI, and Crypto teams.
- Senior-level communication and collaboration skills.
- Professional-level English communication skills.
- Solid working knowledge of HashiCorp Vault is preferred.
- Comfort with GCP and OpenShift is a plus.
- Experience using AI tools is a plus.
