Responsibilities
- Develop and test embedded software for real-time control and advanced tactical radio equipment.
- Support requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing across the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on hardware/software interfaces, system requirements, and operational performance.
- Develop software test procedures, programs, and related documentation.
- Use modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
- Participate in peer reviews and identify, track, debug, and repair software defects.
Requirements
- Be pursuing a bachelor's degree or have completed a bachelor's degree within the last 12 months in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, information security, or a related field.
- Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis principles to software development.
- Work with software languages including C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, HTML5, XML, SQL, Perl, Python, Ajax, and Qt.
- Work with Windows, Linux, mobile platforms, and embedded real-time operating systems including VxWorks, QNX, Integrity, and Windows CE.
