Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, debug, and update developmental and fielded embedded real-time systems.
- Maintain and review requirements, design documentation, and source code.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional engineering team.
- Troubleshoot software on embedded targets and support embedded software design.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree and at least two years of related experience, or eight years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with embedded real-time software development and object-oriented C++.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, with an active clearance preferred.
- Experience with RTOS environments, embedded targets, test frameworks, software configuration management, defect tracking, and peer review tools or techniques.
- Exposure to signal processing, control systems, networking, hardware interfaces, operating systems, and communication protocols.
- Knowledge of programming languages, compilers, application execution, and UML diagrams.
- Strong communication, presentation, writing, and teamwork skills.
