Base Salary
$104k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Advance the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications and systems.
- Modify, document, maintain, support, and monitor software across environments for high reliability and availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional, product, and business teams to solve technical challenges and align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Analyze system requirements and deliver solutions that improve software quality, efficiency, and performance.
- Complete code reviews, automated testing, debugging, and defect remediation.
- Build CI/CD pipelines with quality gates, test automation, and automated approvals.
- Apply AI tools, agent skills, and prompt engineering to software design, coding, testing, and development workflows.
- Guide team members in the effective use of AI-assisted development tools.
Requirements
- A degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience with Java technologies and the listed application, database, messaging, and search technologies is required.
- Hands-on experience with application design, software development, automated testing, distributed systems, algorithms, and relational or NoSQL databases is required.
- Experience with automation testing and documentation, including functional and performance testing, is required.
- Experience with public cloud technologies, AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes is required.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and working with testing and automation tools is required.
- Experience leveraging and building Agent Skills and prompt engineering is required.
- Experience with Agile or other rapid application development methods and strong oral and written communication skills are required.
