Responsibilities
- Design and implement low-latency, highly available, performant applications.
- Write scalable, maintainable, reusable Go code, packages, and programs.
- Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and data storage solutions.
- Benchmark and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs and develop solutions to mitigate them.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship features.
- Conduct code reviews and uphold high code quality standards.
- Produce software design, codebase, and user documentation.
- Research and adopt techniques and technologies that improve functionality, user experience, and performance.
- Ensure system changes comply with industry best practices and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 6+ years of backend development experience focused on production-grade systems.
- Strong grasp of REST API concepts.
- Strong understanding of relational SQL and document NoSQL data models.
- Familiarity with common Go routine and channel patterns.
- Strong technical problem-solving capabilities and ability to learn quickly.
