Base Salary
$128k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design mission-critical data sync protocols for challenging environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement future remediations.
- Optimize bandwidth utilization and ensure reliable data transfer.
- Build robust data sync technologies using industry-standard and novel techniques.
- Support API design and provide technical advice to product development teams.
- Author RFCs and document system architecture.
- Estimate project delivery timelines and communicate with the team.
- Set team culture by example, promoting trust and continual improvement.
Requirements
- Excellent experience in Rust programming.
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems and concurrency.
- Good understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- Willingness to travel quarterly for team meetings.
- Strong written communication skills for async collaboration.
