Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and technical direction to small groups of engineers, including offshore associates.
- Respond to business and user questions, determine technical solutions, and advise on implementation strategies and system implications.
- Manage complex engineering projects from requirements analysis and solution design through coding, testing, troubleshooting, delivery, and hand-off.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve business and production issues while developing and executing corrective action plans.
- Participate in project discovery and high-level design with product management, project management, business, and user experience teams.
- Administer Windows and Linux systems, automate infrastructure operations, deploy cloud infrastructure, and manage container platforms.
- Design network solutions and implement CI/CD, application deployments, workload migrations, and infrastructure monitoring.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Windows Server 2019, RHEL, CentOS, and Linux or Windows system administration.
- Experience with YUM, Cron jobs, Shell scripting, Python, Terraform, ARM Templates, Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Ansible.
- Experience developing Dockerfiles, building and managing Docker containers, and administering Kubernetes clusters and Helm packages.
- Experience deploying containerized applications to Azure Kubernetes Service and AWS Kubernetes Service, including Java applications.
- Experience migrating workloads to Azure and Google Cloud and monitoring infrastructure with Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana.
