Responsibilities
- Design and deliver full-stack features and system enhancements using Python, FastAPI, and ReactJS.
- Architect scalable RESTful APIs and backend services integrated with cloud infrastructure.
- Build responsive, accessible, and performant ReactJS applications and components.
- Define and enforce full-stack architecture standards, coding conventions, and software security practices.
- Provide technical direction across multiple engineering teams and lead complex design discussions and code reviews.
- Act as an escalation point and technical advisor for complex engineering problems.
- Drive architectural decisions, cross-team alignment, technical debt reduction, and adoption of best practices.
- Create and maintain architecture decision records, API contracts, technical documentation, and development guides.
- Champion CI/CD practices and automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.
- Define technical project milestones, identify dependencies, and communicate delivery status to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering full-stack solutions with Python backends and ReactJS frontends.
- Experience leading technical design discussions and driving architectural decisions across teams.
- Strong background in SaaS application development, cloud environments, and open-source tooling.
- Expert proficiency in Python, including asynchronous programming and performance optimization.
- Expert proficiency in FastAPI, including dependency injection, middleware, background tasks, and OpenAPI documentation.
- Expert proficiency in ReactJS, including state management, component architecture, and modern hooks patterns.
- Expert knowledge of software engineering principles, documentation, testing, debugging, data structures, software design, and design patterns.
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, software security practices, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation.
- Advanced knowledge of full-stack architecture patterns, RESTful API design, microservices, and containerization.
- Extensive knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
- Ability to influence technical decisions and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in complex situations.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP is preferred.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, BigQuery, SQLAlchemy, Celery, or RabbitMQ is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
