Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver full-stack solutions using Python, FastAPI, and ReactJS.
- Architect scalable RESTful APIs and backend services integrated with cloud infrastructure.
- Design responsive ReactJS applications with attention to performance, accessibility, and compatibility.
- Define architecture standards, coding conventions, software security practices, and development guidelines across engineering teams.
- Provide technical direction, lead design discussions and code reviews, and serve as an escalation point for complex engineering issues.
- Drive architectural decisions, reduce technical debt, identify technical patterns and anti-patterns, and gain cross-team support for enhancements.
- Create architecture decision records, API contracts, technical documentation, and development guides.
- Champion CI/CD practices and automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.
- Define technical milestones, identify dependencies, and communicate delivery status to stakeholders.
- Prioritize development of AI-powered tools, frameworks, and processes that improve team delivery.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience delivering full-stack solutions with Python backends and ReactJS frontends.
- Experience leading technical design discussions and driving architectural decisions across teams.
- Strong background in SaaS application development, cloud environments, and open-source tooling.
- Expert proficiency in Python, including asynchronous programming and performance optimization.
- Expert proficiency in FastAPI, including dependency injection, middleware, background tasks, and OpenAPI documentation.
- Expert proficiency in ReactJS, including state management, component architecture, and modern hooks.
- Expert knowledge of software engineering principles, testing, debugging, data structures, software design, design patterns, cloud technologies, and software security.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation practices.
- Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, full-stack architecture patterns, RESTful API design, microservices, and containerization.
- Ability to influence technical decisions and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and handle highly complex situations with limited guidance.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or GCP, SQL or NoSQL databases, PostgreSQL or BigQuery, SQLAlchemy, Celery, and RabbitMQ is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
