Base Salary
$107k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build scalable AI capabilities and secure, reliable solutions for Fidelity Wealth.
- Translate business and product priorities into prototypes and production-ready software.
- Design resilient systems using sound software architecture, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
- Deliver end-to-end solutions and own technical issues through resolution.
- Lead meaningful design discussions and collaborate with business, product, architecture, data, and platform teams.
- Mentor engineers and uphold test-first and quality engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of software engineering experience, or a master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.
- Strong technical judgment and experience navigating evolving technology landscapes.
- Experience with at least one modern programming language, including Python, Node.js, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience using GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini, or Claude.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns for scalable, resilient systems.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, initiative, and mentoring abilities.
