Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable CLIs, UIs, and APIs for authoring, reviewing, and verifying hardware specifications.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in a JVM-based toolchain.
  • Partner with documentation support teams to deliver toolchain training, technical guidance, and best practices to silicon designers.
  • Write documentation for platform architecture, toolchain workflows, and internal processes.
  • Identify and implement process and codebase improvements alongside senior engineers.

Requirements

  • Understand domain modeling, schema design, and complex data structures.
  • Have familiarity with schema design and PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
  • Have exposure to build systems such as SBT, Gradle, Maven, or Ant, and version control systems such as Git or Perforce.
  • Understand software test environments, release cycles, and quality assurance best practices.
  • Preferred qualifications include academic, internship, or project-based experience with Scala and the JVM ecosystem; Java experience is also valued.
  • Familiarity with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or TeamCity is preferred.
  • Hands-on frontend or app development experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, iOS, or macOS is preferred.
  • Comfort troubleshooting within macOS, Linux, and UNIX environments is preferred.
