Responsibilities
- Build integration tooling, validation frameworks, automation pipelines, provisioning scripts, custom device configurations, and proof-of-concept implementations.
- Write and ship integration code, automation scripts, deployment tooling, and reference implementations for customer environments.
- Use agentic AI workflows to accelerate development and research, including multi-step agent orchestration.
- Validate and integrate OEM hardware into Esper’s platform.
- Lead technical evaluations for enterprise prospects and advise deals on technical feasibility.
- Respond to security questionnaires and RFPs.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for OEM partners and enterprise customers throughout the sales cycle.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple systems by reading logs, tracing state machines, and isolating variables.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience using agentic AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot Workspace, or custom agents in daily development workflows.
- At least two years of experience debugging complex technical issues across multiple systems.
- At least two years of experience writing and shipping code, tooling, automation, integrations, or production features.
- At least two years of experience communicating technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- At least two years of experience working independently in ambiguous environments without detailed specifications or runbooks.
- Preferred Android/AOSP experience, including device management, firmware, provisioning, or build systems.
- Preferred experience with MDM, EMM, or UEM platforms.
- Preferred embedded systems or firmware development background.
- Preferred proficiency in Python, Kotlin, Java, or Go.
- Preferred REST API design and integration experience.
- Preferred customer-facing experience in a technical role.
