Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance software applications and microservices using Java and Python.
- Design, implement, and test features for Network Management Software platforms.
- Create PostgreSQL data models, queries, and data-processing workflows.
- Build REST-based APIs and backend services integrating with network devices, management systems, and cloud platforms.
- Create and execute unit, integration, and automated tests and troubleshoot software defects.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, build automation, AI-enabled development practices, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with software, test, systems, and network engineering teams.
Requirements
- Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related discipline.
- Strong programming fundamentals and hands-on experience with Java.
- Knowledge of Python programming and scripting.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Familiarity with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including SQL query development and database concepts.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, Git, and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, web services, backend application development, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Preferred exposure to network management systems, telecommunications networks, TCP/IP, Ethernet, SNMP, NETCONF/YANG, or routing concepts.
- Preferred exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Java Enterprise technologies, Python frameworks, Linux, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AI/ML concepts, generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents, data analytics, automation, or network observability solutions.
