Responsibilities
- Develop scalable engineering solutions for Google products.
- Contribute to AI-driven software and large-scale systems.
- Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure for large-scale systems and high-performance applications.
- Analyze information and evaluate results to select effective solutions.
- Apply computer science knowledge to real-world engineering challenges.
- Collaborate across teams and support peers and managers.
Requirements
- Pursuing a PhD focused on software development or another related technical field.
- Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages, such as Java, C/C++, Python, JavaScript, or Go.
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Preferred research experience in algorithms, architecture, artificial intelligence, compilers, databases, data mining, distributed systems, machine learning, networking, or systems.
- Preferred programming experience with C/C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, Objective-C, Go, or similar languages.
