Responsibilities
- Travel frequently to military installations for system fielding and training.
- Install, configure, and validate software in austere environments.
- Partner with operators to tailor system configurations to mission needs.
- Troubleshoot complex system and network issues to resolution.
- Conduct root cause analysis and document findings for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify bugs and implement enhancements.
- Validate system performance against operational use cases.
- Develop training materials and technical documentation.
- Deliver briefings and reports to customers and stakeholders.
- Support test events and ensure system readiness.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in military tactical environments.
- Experience in Systems Administration, DevOps, or Networking.
- Strong experience with Linux-based systems and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies like ESXi.
- Solid understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking.
- Experience with network monitoring and management protocols.
- Proven ability to operate independently in high-tempo environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experience interfacing with end users in operational settings.
