Responsibilities
- Develop AI-driven tools, data analysis platforms, and lab automation software.
- Build software that accelerates test data processing, safety compliance analysis, risk assessment, and test automation workflows.
- Develop web applications and backend/frontend systems for engineering use cases.
- Support hardware test automation, lab instrumentation, sensor data acquisition, and safety or reliability testing workflows.
- Collaborate with the Product Safety Engineering team in English and Mandarin Chinese.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical/Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Commit to a minimum six-month full-time internship in Shanghai.
- Demonstrate strong programming proficiency in Python.
- Understand web application development, HTTP, APIs, and modern frontend/backend architecture.
- Understand database fundamentals, including SQL queries and data schema design.
- Have strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Communicate effectively in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex, LLM API integrations, FastAPI, Flask, React, Next.js, Qdrant, Pinecone, FAISS, Docker, Git, or Linux.
