Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable frontend features with React and Next.js using server-side rendering and static generation.
- Build backend services supporting AI-driven merchandising and shopping experiences.
- Develop and deploy serverless APIs and optimize global content delivery using CDN strategies.
- Use AI coding tools for code generation, testing, debugging, and exploring unfamiliar codebases.
- Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals across devices and network conditions.
- Work with mentors and experienced engineers to contribute to live team priorities and products.
Requirements
- Be currently studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or have equivalent experience.
- Commit to a continuous, full-time internship for at least six months.
- Have hands-on backend programming skills with Go, Node.js, TypeScript, or Python.
- Have frontend programming skills with React; Next.js familiarity is a plus.
- Have a basic understanding of web protocols, CDN caching strategies, and serverless computing concepts such as AWS Lambda or Vercel.
- Demonstrate customer focus, curiosity about AI, clear communication, and accountability for AI output quality.
