Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, code, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, stable, and scalable software solutions.
  • Consider upstream and downstream systems and technical implications when implementing solutions.
  • Use SDLC tools, automation, and enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development capabilities to improve delivery and code quality.
  • Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify problems and support technical decision-making.
  • Validate AI-generated outputs through peer review, automated testing, secure coding standards, and performance and security evaluation.
  • Apply responsible AI practices, including data sensitivity awareness and secure handling of inputs and outputs.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Python and Java.
  • Experience in system design, application development, testing, operational stability, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
  • Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle and with modern programming or database querying languages.
  • Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating, validating, and refining their outputs.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, resiliency, security expectations, and safe handling of sensitive data in engineering workflows.
  • Preferred: familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies.
