Responsibilities
- Develop, design, customize, and implement ServiceNow application modules, workflows, catalog requests, user interfaces, and business logic.
- Build ServiceNow custom applications by defining data tables, configuring application UIs, and developing workflows, widgets, scripts, and related platform components.
- Develop and test scripted REST API and SOAP integrations and address system integration, compatibility, and multi-platform issues.
- Manage multiple ServiceNow instances, major releases, patches, SDLC release processes, and code promotion across development, staging, testing, sandbox, and production environments.
- Provide ongoing production and end-user support, troubleshoot custom application problems, and recommend solutions for system deficiencies.
- Collaborate with ServiceNow administrators and stakeholders to support application rollouts, configuration changes, process improvement, and work estimation.
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of ServiceNow development experience, including at least 3 to 5 years coding, testing, and implementing ServiceNow as a technical resource.
- Experience with ITSM, custom applications, integrations, Service Portal, CSM, CMDB, asset management, change management, contract management, resource management, and IT financial management modules.
- Hands-on experience developing workflows, Business Rules, ACLs, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Data Policies, UI Actions, and table extensions in ServiceNow.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, AngularJS, ServiceNow widgets, client-side and server-side scripting, and ServiceNow UI design and development.
- Proficiency with SOAP UI or comparable tools for testing SOAP and REST web service APIs and strong knowledge of enterprise integration architecture and enterprise applications.
- Experience working in an Agile team and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- ServiceNow Administrator certification is suggested, while ServiceNow micro-certifications, Implementation Specialist certification, and Application Developer certification are advantageous.
