Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, validation, and delivery of scalable product features across backend and frontend layers.
- Develop Node.js and NestJS backend services, REST APIs, microservices, and React-based frontend applications.
- Provide technical leadership through design direction, code reviews, implementation guidance, mentoring, and architecture collaboration.
- Ensure secure, high-quality delivery with development and security processes, unit-test coverage, and vulnerability identification.
- Support customer escalated issues and participate in on-call availability.
- Drive PoCs, innovation initiatives, and continuous improvements in performance, scalability, processes, and developer productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication, or a related discipline.
- 4/5+ years of application development experience, including strong hands-on Node.js full stack development.
- Strong experience with Node.js, NestJS, React, REST API-based backend applications, frontend integration, and responsive web development.
- Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB, Graph databases, Kafka, micro frontends, Vite, Docker, Datadog, microservices, and cloud-native patterns.
- Knowledge of data structures, object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and common design patterns.
- Experience with at least one cloud stack such as AWS or GCP; exposure to Kubernetes-based applications is important.
- Modern cloud-friendly programming language experience such as Python or Node.js is advantageous.
- Experience with unit testing, automation or BDD frameworks, non-relational databases, and Docker-based applications is preferred.
- Ability to provide technical guidance, collaborate on UI architecture, adapt across technologies, and learn new languages, frameworks, and platforms.
- Experience leveraging AI in routine work or personal proofs of concept is an added advantage.
