Base Salary
$158k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy distributed machine learning systems and large-scale software solutions.
- Design new software systems and drive architecture for scalable, efficient, and fault-tolerant AWS services.
- Deliver strategic technical projects for worldwide customers with significant business impact.
- Collaborate with applied scientists to influence technical and organizational strategy.
- Establish engineering best practices that enable a high-quality product.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers and provide leadership on complex technical issues.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- 1+ year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred qualifications include 3+ years covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Machine learning systems experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent are preferred.
