Base Salary
$220k - $330k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and prototype generative AI experiences focused on accelerating autonomy development.
- Lead the user experience design of Hivemind Generative AI.
- Work with the Office of the CTO to shape the Hivemind product vision and documentation.
- Collaborate with Hivemind Commander and Hivemind Design technical leads to improve product user experiences.
- Conduct user research to understand user personas and needs.
- Investigate competing products and synthesize user experience findings for engineering and product leadership.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience developing large, production-quality software systems.
- Strong software development and coding skills with high productivity in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, C++, Go, Python, or Rust.
- Strong knowledge of modern software engineering practices, Git, code management, documentation, unit testing, and bug tracking.
- 5+ years of React, Node, TypeScript, and JavaScript development experience.
- 5+ years of front-end or full-stack web application development experience.
- Deep understanding of full-stack web development, including browser APIs, WebSockets, HTTP streaming, Server-Sent Events, state management, React rendering, SPA routing, URL-based state, content loading, and progressive rendering.
- Experience handling multimodal inputs including text, files, images, and audio, plus client-side LLM context management.
- Experience operating effectively in ambiguous conditions and driving technical efforts.
- Experience with Linux, Docker, and CI/CD environments.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, GCP, or AWS.
- Preferred experience with geospatial data, WebGL, Playwright UI testing, Electron or similar tools, generative AI debugging and inspection UIs, video game UX design, and low-code or no-code systems.
- Experience or comfort reading C++, Python, or TypeScript.
