Base Salary

$118k - $158k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop automated UI, API, and integration test frameworks and suites using Python or another object-oriented language.
  • Assist with issue triage, diagnosis, and resolution across teams.
  • Contribute to end-to-end acceptance tests and develop manual test cases when automation is insufficient.
  • Convert manual tests to automated tests whenever possible.
  • Support automation testing, troubleshooting, and documentation with AI-assisted development tools.
  • Contribute to data integration, validation, modeling, ETL pipelines, CI/CD integration, and pipeline development.
  • Develop and test features, break down work into tasks, participate in code reviews and planning, and contribute to architectural direction.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers and participate in team discussions and feedback.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in a software engineering role.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on software test development experience covering functional and non-functional testing.
  • Knowledge of agentic workflows and MCP design patterns, plus familiarity with AI-powered APIs and tools.
  • Strong SQL expertise, including database objects, relational database concepts, stored procedures, query optimization, and data modeling.
  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-based data warehousing such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and Snowflake.
  • Experience building or improving test automation frameworks, UI automation, CI/CD integration, and pipeline development.
  • Experience with Selenium or Playwright and the full software development lifecycle, including continuous integration, unit and integration testing, functional testing, code reviews, and documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a comparable field, with equivalent work experience accepted.
  • Preferred experience includes media and entertainment, content rights and licensing, AWS Lambda, Kafka, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, Copilot, Cursor, Claude, and Kiro.

  • The Los Angeles, California hiring range is $117,500–$157,500 per year in base pay; bonus and/or long-term incentive units may also be provided.
