Base Salary
$65k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain features across business management applications, including backend services, APIs, and user interfaces.
- Design and implement database models, queries, and schema changes with attention to integrity, performance, and maintainability.
- Investigate existing code and issues, implement reliable solutions, and ship tested releases.
- Monitor production releases, fix defects, conduct code reviews, and contribute to technical discussions.
- Break down well-defined work, communicate status and risks, and support junior engineers while learning from senior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong computer science fundamentals demonstrated through a computer science degree or distinctive software development experience.
- Experience building backend services and APIs, plus some frontend experience.
- Good understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Strong execution, delivery, attention to detail, communication, learning, and adaptability skills.
- Preferred experience includes Python and Django, Next.js or React, ERP/accounting/business-management software, and C++ or another compiled language.
