Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture design and development of Coupang Pay and Rocket Pay iOS applications.
- Lead system design and technical decisions with senior and junior engineers.
- Serve as a technical leader on mission-critical projects and solve complex business problems.
- Mentor developers and help improve engineering excellence.
- Design and implement innovative, customer-focused mobile payment experiences.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver strong user experiences.
- Define iOS technical direction and best practices and promote them across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of iOS application development experience.
- Extensive experience developing services with Swift.
- Experience developing and operating large-scale consumer applications and mission-critical services.
- Strong understanding of UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, and Async/Await.
- Experience with mobile application performance optimization, memory management, network processing, and application architecture design.
- Experience developing B2C services.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include payment, fintech, banking, wallet, Flutter, authentication, security, payment processing, Tech Lead or Staff Engineer, mentoring, and organizational influence experience.
