
Senior Software Engineer

- Design, build, and maintain reusable platform components, services, applications, shared frameworks, microservices, APIs, and developer tooling.
- Partner with internal product and engineering teams to understand needs and deliver scalable, documented solutions that drive adoption.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term platform strategy, emphasizing scalability, security, usability, and maintainability.
- Champion API design, documentation, developer experience, code quality, performance, and engineering best practices.
- Lead and participate in code reviews, provide mentorship, and influence technical direction across teams.
- Identify and implement improvements to platform reliability, performance, developer productivity, cloud adoption, infrastructure modernization, and platform evolution.
- Support integration, deployment, and operational needs, including troubleshooting complex cross-team issues.
- Improve and standardize internal engineering processes, CI/CD pipelines, and development workflows.
- Participate in agile development processes and help define and refine work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience designing and delivering scalable distributed systems in a senior or lead engineering capacity.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver on commitments, and operate with a high degree of ownership.
- Experience collaborating across teams and influencing technical direction beyond the immediate team.
- Proficiency in C# and .NET 10 for building production-grade services.
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs with emphasis on usability and consistency.
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as Angular.
- Familiarity with Linux-based environments, Git, and Docker.
- Experience with test-driven development and building maintainable, testable systems.
- Experience with platform-level services or internal developer platforms is beneficial.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and services, NoSQL databases, object/document storage, messaging and event-driven systems, notification and integration services, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, performance/load testing, LocalStack, and AWS is beneficial.
