Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, and deploy product features and services using PHP, JavaScript, Vue, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS.
- Work with the Product team and global engineering teams to deliver products addressing business needs in international markets.
- Use SQL and relational databases for CRUD operations and design database schema changes.
- Build data-driven products, real-time partner APIs, and tools that help distributed teams support partners.
- Handle sensitive customer information appropriately.
- Own feature development across requirements, implementation, requirement changes, follow-up work, and bug fixes.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, TDD, and collaborative engineering practices.
- Mentor and document work for new engineers and interview candidates to help grow the engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in financial technology services.
- Proficiency in PHP, Java, JavaScript, Vue, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills, including code review, pair programming, and mentoring.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Platform is nice to have.
- Exposure to omnichannel activation through email, push, SMS, or in-product channels is nice to have.
- Interest in growing toward Staff or architecture responsibilities and experience in product-led or growth-driven companies are nice to have.
