Responsibilities
- Identify vulnerabilities using automated tools and triage them appropriately.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to drive timely vulnerability remediation.
- Contribute to Stripe’s security and risk management strategy.
- Improve security posture, vulnerability management processes, and security tools.
- Build data- and agent-backed systems that surface vulnerabilities across Stripe.
- Advise cross-functional teams on security risks and advocate for practices that protect systems and data.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of industry software engineering experience, excluding internships and co-ops.
- Software engineering experience within the security domain.
- Strong communication, collaboration, empathy, problem-solving, attention to detail, and code quality standards.
- Ability to think creatively and holistically about reducing risk in a complex environment.
- Familiarity with automated vulnerability identification tools and vulnerability triage.
- Experience delivering successful projects using agents to automate human review processes.
