Responsibilities
- Ship production Java software end-to-end within a bounded context.
- Translate ambiguous stakeholder requests into clear specifications and implementation plans.
- Design, build, test, and maintain digital products using software engineering practices.
- Own software contracts, data models, test strategies, observability, and quality gates.
- Guide engineering teams across strategy and technology priorities.
- Create roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
- Support AI-driven and data-powered digital solutions.
- Troubleshoot delivery risks, issues, and impediments.
- Partner with business stakeholders to recommend strategic solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and guide the engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 9+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of experience architecting fault-tolerant, high-scale distributed systems.
- Strong Java, Spring, and Spring Boot experience.
- Experience with backend microservices, serverless computing, and Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of high-throughput distributed systems, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with AI tools such as Copilot, Devin, or Windsurf.
- Experience conducting code reviews and guiding engineering teams.
