Senior Software Engineer – Janus Platform

Responsibilities
- Own the design, development, and evolution of the Janus platform end-to-end.
- Build self-service tooling to empower cross-functional teams and reduce bottlenecks.
- Ensure platform reliability at scale with high availability and near real-time config propagation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate loosely defined requirements into reliable solutions.
- Drive architectural decisions and set engineering quality standards.
- Contribute to a culture of good engineering practices and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Experienced in building platform services, internal tooling, or developer infrastructure.
- Skilled in distributed systems with an understanding of availability, consistency, and low-latency data propagation.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making progress with loosely defined requirements.
- Thoughtful about user experience, crafting intuitive workflows for non-technical users.
- Self-driven with the ability to take ownership and follow through without close oversight.
- Collaborative, actively helping teammates grow and succeed.
- Willing to take measured risks and advocate for decisions in uncertain situations.
