Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software unit testing for automotive ECUs.
- Integrate software components into ECU platforms while ensuring compatibility with hardware and vehicle network constraints.
- Perform root-cause analysis of software defects, communication issues, and ECU malfunctions.
- Use CANoe, CANalyzer, UDS, DoIP, OBD-II, and vehicle logs for issue diagnosis.
- Flash software into ECUs using flashing tools.
- Develop and validate UDS diagnostic services, DTCs, and fault-memory strategies.
- Analyze CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet communication traces.
- Support integration testing on benches, HIL systems, and in vehicles.
- Apply AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, ASPICE, and cybersecurity principles.
- Create and maintain SRS, SDD, design reviews, and traceability matrices.
- Collaborate with testing teams to define validation strategies and test coverage.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Embedded Systems, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in Model-Based Development.
- Strong expertise in technical coordination, project planning, and risk management.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Experience developing embedded software with C/C++ for real-time systems.
- Strong knowledge of CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Automotive Ethernet.
- Hands-on experience with UDS (ISO 14229), ISO 15765, OBD-II, and Vector tools including CANalyzer, CANoe, and CANape.
- Ability to analyze logs, communication traces, and memory dumps for diagnostic and troubleshooting activities.
- Understanding of AUTOSAR Classic and/or Adaptive Platform architectures.
- Experience in ASPICE-compliant environments and/or the V-Model development lifecycle.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, rigor, creativity, and curiosity.
