Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software unit testing for automotive ECUs.
- Integrate software components into ECU platforms and ensure compatibility with hardware and vehicle-network constraints.
- Perform root-cause analysis of software defects, communication issues, and ECU malfunctions.
- Use CANoe, CANalyzer, UDS, DoIP, OBD-II, vehicle logs, traces, and memory dumps for diagnostic analysis.
- Flash software into ECUs using flashing tools.
- Develop and validate UDS diagnostic services, DTCs, and fault-memory strategies.
- Analyze CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet communication traces.
- Support integration testing on benches, HIL systems, and in-vehicle environments.
- Apply AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, ASPICE, V-Model, and cybersecurity principles.
- Create and maintain SRS, SDD, design reviews, and traceability matrices.
- Collaborate with testing teams to define validation strategies and test coverage.
Requirements
- Master’s-level engineering degree in Embedded Systems, Electronics, or an equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in embedded C/C++ programming and real-time systems.
- Strong knowledge of CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet vehicle communication protocols.
- Experience with UDS, ISO 14229, ISO 15765, and OBD-II diagnostic standards.
- Experience with Vector tools including CANalyzer, CANoe, and CANape.
- Ability to interpret logs, traces, and memory dumps for diagnostic analysis.
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR Classic or Adaptive stacks.
- Experience with ASPICE or V-Model development processes.
- Strong technical coordination, planning, and risk-management skills.
- Professional-level English and strong communication and teamwork skills.
